LYMT Rules 2008

These rules are to ensure the enjoyment and safety of all at rehearsals. All
members should have respect for themselves, members, tutors, professional artists,
volunteers and the property around them.

Rehearsal Wear and Behaviour
No skirts, jeans or tight trousers. LYMT polo shirts are to be worn with loose
fitting trousers at all sessions by all members. Black/Jazz/dance shoes or
black pumps are to be worn at all times
Look presentable, correct clothing, footwear, hair (pulled back for girls), no
jewellery or watches, no chewing or eating, remember your water.
If the correct clothes or footwear are not worn the member will have one
missed meeting against their name.
All mobiles to be switched off and not used during rehearsals.
Members are not permitted to leave the room without permission.
No violence or bullying. Do not be rude or back chat to members
Disruptive/inappropriate behaviour will result in a warning and an
unauthorised meeting against the member’s name. After two warnings
parents will be informed and members may be asked to leave the group.

If you miss three unauthorised absences you will be automatically
excluded from the group.

100% effort – come with a positive attitude – keep energy levels high
Say ‘Hi’ to everyone from the group when you arrive
No talking when leaders/tutors/guests or members speaking
Respect everybody and they will respect you
Give everyone the chance to shine like the stars we all are
Always include everyone in group activities, rather than usual friendship
groups

LYMT does not hold any responsibility for members’ personal belongings
The Craig Y Don Sports and Community Centre will be open 15 minutes
before the start of rehearsals.
All members must sign in and out when coming to meetings.
All rooms should be kept tidy and litter free during meetings and before
members leave the building.
