What does Stagenotes offer:

Drama, Dance and Singing Sessions at the Craig Y Don Sports and Community Centre
Queens Road, Craig Y Don, Llandudno
to help your child have fun, meet other children,
grow in confidence, learn to work as a team and to enjoy singing, dance and drama without
constantly working towards a performance or exams.


What are the age groups? Ages 6 - 8, 9 – 11 and 12 – 16

How much will it cost?
6–8 years
9.30am to 10.30am @ £3 a session (one hour) paid at the beginning of each term
9–11 years
9.30am to 11.30am @ £6 per session (two hours) paid at the beginning of each term
12–16 years
9.30am to 11.30am @ £6 per session (two hours) paid at the beginning of each term

A Discount of 10% will be allowed for the second/third child when more than one member of
the same family is attending Stage Notes.

Who will be teaching at the sessions? The Tutors who lead the sessions are all
trained to teach with performance experience or have had professional experience in performance.

All tutors and volunteers are checked by the Criminal Records Bureau.

Will there be performances? Regular presentations for parents and friends will take place
each term. There will also be other opportunities to perform from time to time.

Appropriate clothing: All children should wear loose fitting clothes, no jeans allowed. Polo
shirts will be available for all children coming to the workshops at a cost of £12. Pumps or jazz
shoes will also be required, no trainers allowed. Jazz shoes can also be purchased through
the group.

Organisation
Stage Notes is under the umbrella of the organisation Llandudno Youth Music Theatre (LYMT).
LYMT was established in 1978 to provide a music based youth theatre for the Llandudno and
surrounding area. Management of the group is provided by a committed team of volunteers
which include parent representatives and members of the local business community. LYMT
became a registered charity in 1989 – 701723
